About the Program

In April 2022, Ballet Theatre Company will return to the Bushnell’s Maxwell M. and Ruth R. Belding Theater to perform Aladdin, choreographed and directed by Artistic Director, Stephanie Dattellas. The ballet will integrate the talents of BTC’s resident professional dancers, local performers, students of The School of Ballet Theatre Company and nationally acclaimed guest artists.

In addition, many other talented artists will work behind the scenes to build backdrops and sets, design and create costumes, and determine lighting designs to create this magical performance and production. In order to share the joys of this production with students and encourage integration of the arts in education, BTC has prepared a Behind the Curtain program featuring Aladdin for local schools.

The Behind the Curtain package for Aladdin includes the following:

  1. Livestream Performance featuring Aladdin Act I on April 22nd at 10:00am
  2. Aladdin Digital Storybook
  3. Aladdin Academic Activity Workbook
  4. Aladdin Performing Arts Activity Workbook

The Behind the Curtain package featuring Aladdin is priced at a flat rate of $50 for the entire package.

Above you will find an information packet reviewing the program offerings for Behind the Curtain featuring Aladdin. Please reach out to outreach@dancebtc.org if you have any questions about the program!
